: Before the URL structure is decided. The cheapest moment to fix any of this is while the build is still in staging; after launch it is a recovery project at several times the cost.
: A planned migration should see a small dip for two to four weeks and full recovery after. Anything worse than that is a mistake, not a law of nature.
: Usually. We reconstruct the old URL set from archives and analytics, rebuild the redirect map, and restore what was dropped. Recovery rates fall the longer it is left.
: Most work sits inside a monthly plan rather than being quoted line by line, because the disciplines overlap. The plans page publishes the whole scope - all 105 things a plan can cover - and then the comparison lists every lever at each tier, including what is deliberately excluded. One-off audits and consulting are quoted separately.
: No lock-in. Search compounds, so three months is the shortest window where the numbers mean anything - but that is advice about expectations, not a clause you are signing.
