Ai
llms.txt
robots.txt tells crawlers where not to go. llms.txt tells models what is worth reading.
Shipping an llms.txt and making sure Ai crawlers can read, parse and quote your content correctly. A small piece of work with a disproportionate effect on whether models see you at all.
What this fixes
Ai crawlers blocked by accident
A blanket robots rule or a firewall setting quietly excluding GPTBot and PerplexityBot, and with them every citation.
Models reading the wrong pages
Tag archives and thin pages retrieved while the definitive resource goes unseen.
No guidance at all
No llms.txt, no clear structure, and the model left to guess what your site is for.

These overlap. Most accounts run several of them together, because that is where the compounding comes from.
The same four stages on every engagement, in the same order, because doing them out of order is how budget gets wasted
We establish exactly where you stand today and what is capping you, with the findings ordered by impact rather than by how long the list looks. Nothing gets recommended before this.
A sequenced roadmap with milestones, built around the searches and prompts that grow revenue. You will know what is being worked on this month and why it beat everything else.
We do the work, directly or alongside your developers. Nothing sits in a recommendations document waiting for somebody else to find time for it.
Monthly reporting against enquiries rather than impressions, then the next round of priorities. If something did not work we say so and say what we are changing.

-
It is a proposal with growing adoption rather than a ratified standard. It is cheap to add, does no harm, and adoption is rising fast enough that waiting has little upside.
-
Only with a specific reason - a publisher protecting licensed content, say. For most businesses, blocking the crawler blocks the citation, and the citation is the point.
-
Server logs. We verify that GPTBot, PerplexityBot and the others are actually fetching, and which paths they request. Assumption is not verification here.
-
Most work sits inside a monthly plan rather than being quoted line by line, because the disciplines overlap. The plans page publishes the whole scope - all 105 things a plan can cover - and then the comparison lists every lever at each tier, including what is deliberately excluded. One-off audits and consulting are quoted separately.
-
No lock-in. Search compounds, so three months is the shortest window where the numbers mean anything - but that is advice about expectations, not a clause you are signing.
